Capture, Store and Retrieve Images Using Canon Scanners

Business Imaging Systems, Inc., a provider of document management systems, software and consulting services, today announced the release of Mobilis Professional, a document repository application that enables the capture, storage and retrieval of documents and checks scanned using the Canon CR-180 and CD-4050.

Designed for financial institutions and corporations that receive and process large volumes of checks or remittances, Mobilis Professional is ideal for banks, credit unions, county treasurers, utility companies, churches and other check-intensive organizations. Mobilis Professional can be used in the banking industry as an alternative to microfilm storage and enable banks and credit unions to utilize check image exchange as depicted in the recently-passed Check 21 bill.
Mobilis Professional can also be used for the cataloging of CDs for organizations that use the Canon CD-4050 scanner, as well as the storage of Federal Reserve check CDs. And when combined with the power of Kofax Ascent Capture® and A2iA CheckReaderTM, Mobilis Professional provides remittance processing capabilities for companies in a variety of industries.
While ideal for checks, Mobilis Professional can be used for the storage of any type of electronic document, including structured and unstructured forms, such as invoices.
